Karijini Day Tour - The Pilbara...the oldest known landscape on Earth, estimated to be more than 2.5 billion years old, and how beautifully it has aged. With its sheer gorges you can see where nature has carved deep lines-of-time into the landscape. There is no better place to witness this than Karijini National Park. Karijini has spectacular 100 metre sheer sided ochre coloured chasms. Hidden amongst this ruggedness are crystal clear rock pools, cascading waterfalls and tropical fern environments, each offering easy walking track or viewing platform access.
Our full day tour includes morning tea, lunch, park entry fees and much more. Our aim is to show visitors the natural wonders of the area in a relaxed friendly environment. We will collect you from your accommodation from 7.30am and returning approx. 5.00pm. Our tour includes spectacular views from Oxer Lookout, a walk through Weano Gorge to Handrail Pool, Joffre Falls and Knox Lookout, a visit to the Karijini Visitor Centre, descend into Dales Gorge, swim and enjoy the tranquility of Fern Pool, Fortescue Falls and a visit to Circular Pool Lookout.
We recommend bringing the following items:
Comfortable clothing and walking shoes (An extra pair of reef shoes or similar is also a bonus!)
